Annie's 80th Birthday, April 2014
Annie celebrated her 80th birthday in Binghamton, New York, first with her immediate family at an informal family dinner followed by a surprise party to which all relations and friends were invited. Out of town relatives came from Florida, North Carolina, California, Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts to attend.

Annie's Birthday Dinner: Thursday, on the evening of Annie's birthday her immediate family took her to Cortese Restaurant in Binghamton for an Italian meal.
The Family Portrait: Friday, with the family all in town at the same time, we sat for a family portrait at Our Dreams Photography (www.ourdreamsphotography.com).
Setting up for the party: Friday evening the conniving cousins met at the fire station to set up and decorate for the next day's surprise party. The next morning the cake arrived with an image of Annie as a child and cookies baked by the cousins were laid out.
The Main Event: Approximately 85 family and friends surprised Annie and a great party ensued. This was not only a celebration of Annie's life, but a wonderful family reunion as well with cousins reconnecting after years and even decades of separation.
